What is the time duration of warranty?

Duration of warranty depends on the type of product. Please check the specifications of a product to confirm its warranty duration.

When does the warranty start?

Warranty time period starts from the date of purchase.

Is warranty transferable?

Only original owner of the product can avail the benefits of warranty. Warranty cannot be transferred under any circumstances.

What are the pre-requisites for availing the services during warranty period?

  • Proof of the purchase (VAT / Commercial Invoice) from authorized distributor, dealer, retailer or reseller.
  • Serial number should remain intact on the product. It should not be damaged or missing.
  • Serial number on the proof of purchase or warranty card and on the product should be same.
  • Warranty seal(s) should remain intact on the product. It should not be damaged or missing.

What does warranty cover?

Warranty covers natural hardware fault only.

Disclaimer: iZOTRON always tries its best to produce the products using premium quality parts to maintain high quality standard in the market. As per the market standard of LCD, LED or other type of screens, we consider a screen of up to 1600×900 resolution to be faulty if it has seven or more dead pixels or bright pixels or combination of dead and bright pixels. While, a screen of more than 1600×900 resolution is considered faulty if it has nine or more dead pixels or bright pixels or combination of dead and bright pixels.

What’s not covered under warranty?

Software, because of its nature, will not be covered under any circumstances. So, corruption of software of any product or loss of data, records or program(s) due to software mal-function will not be covered under warranty.

Natural deterioration of battery capacity will not be covered under warranty.

Warranty does not cover the damages caused by:

  • Unreasonable use or misuse.
  • Negligent installation or operation.
  • Hardware bricking by installing non-supported software update(s).
  • Overclocking of hardware.
  • Unlocking or rooting of software.
  • Inadequate packaging, cleaning or maintenance.
  • Unauthorized repairs, modifications or the addition of hardware or consumables not supplied by iZOTRON.
  • Incorrect application of main voltage howsoever arising or any other cause beyond the control of iZOTRON.
  • Immersion into any kind of liquid.
  • Exposure to excessive temperature or other such environmental conditions.
  • Household pets, rats, cockroaches or any other animals or insects.
  • Acts of God, such as fire, lightning, earthquake etc.

Products sold through auction or won in a lucky draw will not be covered under warranty.

When does warranty becomes inapplicable?

Warranty will be voided in any of the following cases:

  • Serial number is missing from product.
  • Removing or damaging warranty seal(s) from the product.
  • Damages caused by:
    • Unreasonable use or misuse.
    • Negligent installation or operation.
    • Hardware bricking by installing non-supported software update(s).
    • Overclocking of hardware.
    • Unlocking or rooting of software.
    • Inadequate packaging, cleaning or maintenance.
    • Unauthorized repairs, modifications or the addition of hardware or consumables not supplied by iZOTRON.
    • Incorrect application of main voltage howsoever arising or any other cause beyond the control of iZOTRON.
    • Immersion into any kind of liquid.
    • Exposure to excessive temperature or other such environmental conditions.
    • Household pets, rats, cockroaches or any other animals or insects.
    • Acts of God, such as fire, lightning, earthquake etc.

What services are provided during warranty period?

Products, with natural hardware faults, returned during warranty will be repaired or replaced. If returned product cannot be repaired and an exact replacement is not available, iZOTRON will replace it with a product deemed to be of similar performance.

Disclaimer: Repairs or replacements during warranty will not extend the warranty duration. Returns for refund claims must be processed through the original seller’s return policy.

What’s the process for availing the services during warranty?"

  • Please send us an email with the issues which you might be facing with the product.
  • Please don’t forget to mention the product name, model number, seller details and purchase date in your email. Without these details, we won’t be able to assist you further.
  • After receiving your request, someone from iZOTRON’s support team will contact you via email or phone within 1 to 2 working days (during business hours). Note: iZOTRON may request you to provide the proof of purchase. So, please make sure that you have it.
  • iZOTRON will try to resolve the issues by communicating with you via email or phone. If the issue could not be analyzed or resolved by communication, iZOTRON will provide you with an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number and will arrange a pickup (within India only) for the product or request you to send the product to an iZOTRON’s Service Centre. Note: Please make sure that the product contents, as requested by iZOTRON, are well packed before sending it back to iZOTRON. Disclaimer: iZOTRON will not be liable for any kind of damages which may incur to the product due to improper packaging or due to mishandling done by Courier Company during the transit.
  • After receiving the product back, iZOTRON will inspect the product in regard of the issues notified by you.
    • If the issues are found to be due to natural mal-functioning of the hardware, it will be repaired or replaced. If the product cannot be repaired and an exact replacement is not available, iZOTRON will replace it with a product deemed to be of similar performance.
    • If iZOTRON finds that the issues are not related to hardware or the issues are caused due to man-made damages, liquid or water damages, defects caused by household pets, rats, cockroaches or any other animals or insects, exposure to excessive temperature or other such environmental conditions, unreasonable use or misuse, negligent installation or operation, overclocking of hardware, unlocking or rooting of software, inadequate packaging, cleaning or maintenance, unauthorized repairs, modifications or the addition of hardware or consumables not supplied by us, damages caused by fire, immersion in liquid, lightning, earthquake, inadequate ventilation, Acts of God, incorrect application of main voltage howsoever arising or any other cause beyond the control of iZOTRON, no free repair services will be provided. Warranty will be voided for the product in such scenarios.
  • Once the product has been repaired or replaced, iZOTRON will ship the product back to you.Disclaimer: If issues are not due to natural mal-functioning of hardware, you will be liable for any shipping fees as well as service charges claimed by iZOTRON.

Who will be liable for shipping charges?

As long as the product is under warranty, iZOTRON will bear both side shipping charges (within India only), if and only if the product is found to be faulty due to natural causes. If not, then the owner of the product will have to bear both side shipping charges.

If warranty is applicable and izotron’s shipping partner is not being able to pickup the goods from your location, you would be responsible to ship the product to an authorized service center. In this case, iZOTRON will reimburse you at the rate of INR 39.00 per 0.50KG, to the maximum value of INR 450.00, for the shipping cost which may have incurred to you. In order to claim shipping charges, you would have to provide a legitimate copy of the shipment receipt stating the weight of the shipment and the amount paid by you for shipping the goods.

Disclaimer: iZOTRON will not be liable for any kind of charges which may incur during the transit of the product, to and from iZOTRON’s Service Center location. You will be responsible for providing correct pickup and return shipping address(s). If the provided address(s) is invalid, you will be liable for re-pickup and redirect or re-ship fee which will vary depending on your region.

Will there be any service or shipping charge(s) once the product is no more eligible for warranty coverage?

Shipping fees as well as service charges will be applicable once the product is no more eligible for warranty coverage. Service charges may vary based upon the actual material and labor cost to repair or replace missing or modified or damaged parts.
